Album releases to date have seen him acclaimed as an acoustic powerhouse for the new wave of singer songwriters, and whilst much of his repertoire is sentimental and reflective, you can’t fail to notice that wry sense of humour either.
Dominic Finley is now striking out on his own having been a member of eighties charts toppers Cutting Crew (I just died in your arms) and a sideman for other named artistes including Jim Diamond, (an artiste who achieved major chart success in Australia in the eighties, with ‘I wont let you down’ under the name PhD.)
Dominic was born in Lancashire, England. He recently emigrated to Australia, and resides in Warragul, Victoria, with his Australian wife.
He has struck a rich vein of song writing and has already written more than 200 songs. Work continues in the studio and he is currently fine tuning the selected material for what will be his third album.
Audiences can expect a fun and friendly performance of quality self-penned songs, with a scattering of cover versions, tall stories and one liners.
